Who We Are
The Sarnia Cold Plunge Community
In 2023, Neesa Nahmabin and Trevor Beatty co-founded the Sarnia Cold Plunge Community, a grassroots wellness group that has since grown to more than 1,400 members. Through weekly gatherings and seasonal events, they’ve created a space where people come together to build resilience, connection, and presence through the power of cold water and community.
Their shared passion for holistic wellness and community care naturally evolved into the creation of Sanctuary, a space designed to nurture those same values through movement, mindfulness, and integrative treatments.
As experienced wellness practitioners and co-founders of Sanctuary, Neesa and Trevor are dedicated to guiding others toward balance and growth. Sanctuary represents the heart of their work: a welcoming hub for connection, care, and holistic well-being in the Sarnia–Lambton area.

Come Get Cold With Us!
Every Sunday at 10:00am the community meets at Canatara Beach for 10 minutes of guided breathing before emerging themselves into Lake Huron. Wear something cozy, bring a hot drink and show yourself what you are capable of.
The community is here to cheer you on!
